IMPORTANT
The mileage shown in the Instrument Cluster can differ from the value stored in the gearbox. Diagnostic tools can easily detect this difference by reading the original data.
To keep both values perfectly synchronized, a CAN Emulator is required.

Paused mileage will not increase or update later, and you can install or remove the module anytime without affecting the stored value. Some vehicles may store minor CAN interruption entries, but they are harmless and can be easily cleared with any diagnostic tool.
