The mileage displayed in the instrument cluster can differ from the value stored in the gearbox.
To keep both values perfectly synchronized, a OBD Emulator is required.

Paused mileage will not increase or update later, and you can install or remove the module anytime without affecting the stored value. Some vehicles may store minor CAN interruption entries, but they are harmless and can be easily cleared with any diagnostic tool.
When the device is active and the mileage is paused or slowed down, the engine control light may appear on vehicles produced from late 2020 onward. Once the device is switched off, the light will turn off again automatically after a few normal driving movements.
The module filters selected mileage-related data, but it does not interrupt the operation of the engine, transmission, or any driving system. Because certain mileage messages are intentionally modified to paus or slow down the mileage, the system may register a temporary engine warning light. This is a harmless, sporadic notification and does not indicate any real fault in the vehicle.
The message can be easily cleared at any time with any standard diagnostic tool.
